The tragic drama is about two hobos story during the Great Depression. George, the short and clever young man and his friend Lennie, the sluggish giant start to work on a farm in California. Their dream is an own farm to cultivate. Lennie’s puerility cause lots of problems, George helps him always to solve the effects.

John Ernst Steinbeck (1902-1968) was an American author. His most famous novels are The Grapes of Wrath,  East of Eden, and Of Mice and Men – the theatrical version of this last one got immediately popular after the premier and won Pulitzer-Prize.
