Botanical Garden of the University of Szeged
While taking a walk in the Botanic Garden, visitors can enjoy the view and the amazing smell of around 130 species of roses.
The pavilion, covered with climbing roses offers a nice and shady resting place for the visitors.
In the collection, there are big and fragrant tea roses hybrids, floribundas, polyanthas and miniature renesaince roses. A very special specie is the Hungarian bred Saint Elisabeth – from royal family of Árpád – memory rose. As a new attraction, a rose bed was evolved to show wild roses strain in terms of precious roses.
